Supporting the Development of the National Employment Framework
As part of efforts to develop the National Employment Framework and enhance graduate employability, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Elmansoury, Vice President for Learning Affairs, participated in a field work visit to the Republic of Italy from May 18 to 22, 2026, in cooperation with the Union of Mediterranean Universities (UNIMED).
The high-level Libyan delegation visited a number of educational institutions and organizations within the business sector to explore international best practices and discuss opportunities for strengthening cooperation between Libyan partner institutions and their Italian counterparts.
The visit aimed to support the implementation of the components of the National Employment Framework, enhance the employability of university graduates, and contribute to the implementation of the EU-funded EU4SKILLS Programme, which has been entrusted to Expertise France for implementation.
In this context, it is worth noting that the Libyan International University has hosted several sessions during which the National Employment Framework Strategy Team convened to carry out its work on developing and formulating the National Employment Framework Strategy.
