About the Department
The Academic Documentation Department is responsible for documenting scientific, educational, and research activities conducted at the university, and works to preserve and make them accessible as a reliable reference that contributes to strengthening the university’s academic and media identity.

Department Objectives
Documenting academic and scientific activities organized or participated in by the university. Establishing an audio-visual database that documents the university’s journey and achievements. Supporting the university’s media and marketing efforts with documentary materials. Ensuring the quality of documentation processes in accordance with institutional standards and the university’s visual identity. Developing documentation technologies and training staff to use them effectively.
Department Responsibilities
Preparing the annual academic documentation plan and aligning it with the university’s strategic plan and college plans. Providing audio-visual documentation of conferences, seminars, major scientific events, lectures, and distinguished promotional materials organized by the university for publication and broadcasting. Identifying, requesting, and maintaining the equipment and devices اللازمة for documenting academic activities, and ensuring their inclusion in the university’s estimated budget. Selecting filming locations and determining camera placement as well as audio capture setups. Participating in the selection of individuals to be filmed and obtaining their written consent when necessary. Collecting data through audio and video recording using designated equipment, and designing recording protocols. Analyzing recorded data, and reviewing and selecting audio-visual segments during the editing process. Deriving conclusions, conducting discussions, and providing recommendations regarding recorded content, including sequencing clips and integrating appropriate audio-visual elements. Publishing and disseminating outcomes through academic documentary productions of the recorded material.
