Syria Officially Recognizes LIMU as the First Private University in Libya

Prof. Dr. Abdallah Al-Mansouri, the University Vice President for Learning Affairs, has announced that the Libyan International Medical University (LIMU) is officially the first private university in Libya to be accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Syrian Arab Republic, following the fulfillment of all required documentation and evaluations.

Regarding the importance of this milestone, Prof. EL-Mansoury stated:

"This accreditation reflects the university’s unwavering commitment to academic standards and educational quality recognized both regionally and internationally. It further cements LIMU's position as a leading center for higher education in Libya and the region."

Prof. EL-Mansoury added: "This recognition simplifies the procedures for Syrian students studying at the university to have their degrees equalized in Syria, ensuring official national recognition of their qualifications."

The Vice President concluded by noting

that this accreditation is a testament to the university's prestigious status and its leadership as a pioneering scientific institution in Libya.
